While we are known for our signature Toy Party events, you may also purchase
from us directly via our website, phone or our New York City location. By
utilizing this website to make purchases, you agree to provide accurate, true and
complete information.
You must be 18 years or older to make purchases on this website due to legal
liability reasons.
- Sales Tax:
Shipments to destinations in the State of New York will be charged New York
State sales tax.
- Ordering Products Online
Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email containing a detail of
your order. Upon shipping, you will receive a separate email tracking number
with the USPS or UPS tracking number.
- Ordering Custom Products on JTB.com
We have a 3 hour grace period from the time your order is placed during which
you may cancel it. After that time, any custom items cannot be cancelled,
returned or exchanged.
- Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
- Out of Stock:
From time to time, popular boxes or items to create our signature ToolBoxes
may be out of stock. Please contact us by phone to inquire about availability if it
is not stated on the product page. We do our best to replenish products as
quickly as possible, but delays may occur.
- Gift Wrapping:
We’re all about being green; even our boxes and shipping materials are made of
recycled materials. We think our boxes are naturally fun and pretty. We can,
however, add a special message card inside the box at no extra charge.
- Gift Cards:
Even our gift cards are unique, and we do not charge anything extra for a
personal card to accompany it. Gift Cards are not charged sales tax. Only the
items once purchased with the gift card are charged sales tax.
- Our Return Policy:
We believe in quality and want our customers to love their JTB products. We
inspect each and every box before it is shipped to help insure customer
satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied or you receive your box damaged
or tampered with we welcome your exchange or return within 30 days of the
original order date as long as the following criteria are met:
- all items were purchased from JTB and you have proof of purchase.
- All toys and books are in new and unused with no sign of wear
- Anything requiring assembly has not been assembled; or if damaged, or
missing parts, it must be returned to its original packing state.
- If you received a damaged or defective item, call us immediately to report
it.
- All items have the original tags attached and are returned in the JTB box.
- Absolutely no returns or exchanges on custom boxes or items unless they
arrive defective. *Please call us within 72 hours of receipt.

- Send us Your Return: Use the original shipping box in which the items
were shipped. Ship the return with UPS or USPS with insurance to:

- A store credit or refund will be mailed to you promptly.
- Refused shipments/orders will be assessed a 10% restocking fee, the
cost of return shipping, or both at the discretion of JTB. The
assessment will be deducted from the refund amount.
- SHIPPING POLICIES:
Featured Items valued at more than $100 (after all discounts are applied) are
offered free Ground Shipping. Tax does not count towards the free shipping
amount.
We do our best to get items shipped as soon as possible. That means generally
between 24 - 48 hours, unless a product is back-ordered or out of stock. Orders that
ship via Standard Ground typically arrive within 5-10 business days. JTB is
reliant on 3rd party shippers and cannot guarantee a specific arrival date or time
frame with this shipping method.
JTB does not assume responsibility for orders that are incorrectly addressed.
Orders may be re-routed or returned to JTB as undeliverable. If the shipment is
re-routed by UPS a $20.00 charge may be assessed to the billing party. The
billing party is also responsible for any additional shipping fees.
We ship products nationally throughout the United States, but are unable to ship to
non-US destinations at this time.

- SAFETY & THE ISSUES WE FACE
Jade’s ToyBox was founded because of a concern about our toddler’s toys and
safety, much of it stemming from the China toy recalls in late 2007 that still seem
never ending. While we realize China is not solely responsible for the current
problem we as parents face, we also know demanding better quality is all of our
responsibility. Jade’s ToyBox does our very best to seek out quality-made and
eco-friendly toys no matter where they are made.
What we have learned in a short time is that you can’t let your guard down, nor
can you make assumptions that something is safe, no matter where the origin of
the toy. We also have found a dilemma in finding greener, more eco-friendly
toys. A lot of “green” toys are made of bamboo. Much of the bamboo comes from
China, so when we recently considered a particular bamboo toy that was made
in China, we did a lot of research and found that the manufacturer had a recall
due to lead. And it’s not limited to hard surfaces like bamboo, or wood. Many
recalled products are not hard-painted surfaces, but plush or seem to have no
paint at all. So we continue to do our homework so you don’t have to.
The Good News… We see a real change happening, and it’s extremely exciting.
